Potential Clients

I currently offer private and powerful online sessions throughout the state of Michigan. I use a HIPAA compliant platform which is accessible and easy to use.

You’ll join a HIPAA compliant virtual session using a link sent in your email or text appointment reminder.

I do not currently offer in-person sessions. However, I am considering opening a location near you. Join the mailing list for location updates and events.

The Acceptance Center is not currently paneled with insurance which means we cannot bill your insurance directly.
However, you may be able to submit your receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement. Learn more about this process by visiting Thrizer.

Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicaid or Medicare clients at this time. You would also not be eligible for reimbursement.

The current fee is $200 per 55-minute session. I do not accept insurance at this time and fees are due at the beginning of the session or automatically billed the day of your appointment.
If you have out of network coverage, you may be eligible for reimbursement. I can discuss the process of submitting a super-bill to your insurance company during our consultation or intake session.
To check with your insurance company about rates, you can ask them about your coverage for the code 90791 and 90837. I only offer advice about the process and receipt of payment; I do not guarantee reimbursement.

During our first session you will be asked questions about all aspects of your life so that we can assess your needs holistically. We can go at your pace but the more information you provide the sooner we can help you reach your goals. At the end of our session, we will check in with you, suggest solutions you might try over the first week and then set up your next appointment.

This depends on your life experience and level of participation in the process. Most clients learn tools that make a difference within the first few sessions. Many clients find biweekly sessions are sufficient after the first few sessions. Clients may choose to attend sessions once per month after meeting their goals or at least four months into therapy. Clients may also choose to come as needed but those sessions are subject to availability. Because your care will be tailored to your needs and preferences, this will be discussed further during your initial sessions.

If you are having a mental health emergency you should call 911 or if you may be a harm to yourself, you can also call 988.
Please do not leave voicemails with details about emergent issues. Although I do my best to accommodate you if you have an urgent issue like a loss of a loved one or relationship conflict, I do not accept calls after hours. I may not be able to respond for up to two business days at a time, so I do not manage mental health emergencies.

Also, if you are more than a few minutes late to our call, your therapist will attempt to contact you.
However, after fifteen minutes you will be required to reschedule and may be subject to our cancellation fee.

Please be sure to provide notice 48 hours before your appointment or you may be subject to a cancellation fee. You can leave a voice message or send an email to cancel an appointment. Typically, I will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule or confirm your next appointment.

I require notice within 48 hours of your appointment in order to cancel a session without being charged a fee. I understand there can be extenuating circumstances, but I also want to provide all of my clients with the best quality of care. I may have a waitlist and a missed appointment could have otherwise been filled if given proper notice. Please refer to your “Consent” form for additional information or contact me directly with questions.
