Meet Christina Diederichs, Psychotherapist
Ready to stop living in survival mode?
Empowering women to stop feeling anxious and start feeling in control.
Hi, I’m Christina. I help women like you feel less overwhelmed.
Right now, you feel exhausted, unsupported, and anxious. You may even feel guilty that you are unhappy and want more from your life. You’ve read self-help books and articles, maybe even talked with someone about your anxiety but haven’t had the breakthrough you so desperately need.
Perhaps you’ve even made progress but haven’t been able to maintain positive changes on your own. People come to me because they want real-life guidance, new perspectives, and the tools to make lasting change. In our sessions, we work together to create a holistic plan that takes your lifestyle, experience, and relationships into account. We clarify your unique goals and discover the simple steps you can take to start thriving.
It is possible to feel fulfilled without sacrificing yourself or your relationships. I know this because I’ve shared in your struggle too. I had to learn to manage my own anxiety, and I started by prioritizing myself and my values. I want you to know there is hope and I can help.
Therapy for Anxiety
Our sessions won’t be like any appointments you may have had in the past because I tailor my approach to fit you. Simply show up for yourself, tell me your story and the things your anxiety is constantly shouting at you. Once we get to know each other, you will have a safe place to talk about the hard things.
I will give you my full attention, share tools and provide the compassionate support you need to make lasting change.
During our sessions you’ll choose the pace because I won't risk making therapy another traumatic experience. Essentially, I meet you where you are and walk with you until you get to where you want to be. I often do this by helping you gain insight into your habits and strengths, then offering tools you can use to make things easier to manage. If something I share or suggest is not working for you, I welcome feedback because my methods are flexible. We will work as a team.
I specialized in empowering women like you to manage their anxiety and their life.
The lack of support and unrealistic expectations women experience, make us especially vulnerable to anxiety.
Early in my career, I realized there wasn’t a one-size-fits-all solution for clients, even if insurance companies expect there to be. I diligently gathered resources, finding skills and adapting tools to suit each of my clients’ specific needs and preferences. Over time, I recognized that they all shared one common desire. Each of my clients benefited from compassionate support and realistic tools but most of all, they needed someone to believe in them.
Today, I continue to research and apply the latest techniques in my mission to help others rebuild their lives and grow. I’ve continued my education to deepen my understanding of the issues women face today, especially anxiety, relationship conflict and what can be traumatic life transitions (e.g., like motherhood or the loss of a loved one). I am always happy to share my knowledge and the experience I’ve gained after a decade of helping others, but most importantly, I will believe in you.
What’s it like to work with me?
People often describe me as an ally, someone who is empathetic but direct and extremely knowledgeable; they feel safe being vulnerable with me and love to ask me for advice. My clients often say that I get “it,” quickly helping them find the missing pieces and to put their puzzle together. By helping them unlock their patterns and potential, they find the confidence they need to manage their anxiety and change their lives for the better.
I can help you get clear on your values and make healing a priority.
My tailored approach is holistic, and trauma informed. That means together we will consider all aspects of your life and culture to get a clear picture of who you truly are. We may talk about past events that cause you to feel emotional, but I will always support you through the process with tools, knowledge and understanding. Together we will design a plan to fit your needs and lifestyle, then make the changes you need to not just manage but to thrive.
I can support you through the process of healing what feels like the broken parts.
Whether we start by working on your sleep habits or adding new tools to handle stress and anxiety, I will work to help you find solutions as unique as you are. Because I haven't just read the books. Like many of us, I’ve shared in your struggle and been overwhelmed by life. Together, we will find ways to help you feel better now and work to build a brighter future.
Above all, I will believe in you until you believe in your ability to change your mind and your life.

In our sessions, we will discover useful ways to manage your thoughts and emotions, change the patterns that are holding you back, and work to improve your mood then your life.
I will listen to your story and help you understand the relationship between your pain and environment. Together we will talk about ways to manage pain and the thoughts connected to your sensations.
Together we will strengthen your ability to recognize and communicate your needs, understand the impact of your perspectives, set boundaries, then increase connection with those you love.
Trauma does not have to define you. With my support, you will discover ways to overcome emotional obstacles and life’s many transitions to move towards joy then healing.
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” -Maya Angelou
What does acceptance mean to you?
Acceptance is defined as a noun, but described as the action of consenting, being received or to be in agreement with something. I created The Acceptance Center because I believe acceptance is actually the key to growth and healing. Whether you need to accept yourself, the work it will take to heal or accept the help that you need to make lasting change. My mission is to walk beside you in the process and help you unlock your potential with the support and acceptance that everyone deserves.
